Dolphin Chase
By Caroline Mok, Beacon
Hill Primary School
The waves will cradle the creatures below,
As
a mother cradles her child.
And as the whales and the dolphins swim so merrily,
They hope none will disturb for a while.
But a shadow covers the sun
above
And the dolphins look up from their play.
There As a boat and the
creatures will discover,
It's looking for it's sea creature prey.
The
dolphins hurry from the dangerous boats beneath
To where they think the boat
cannot pass
But they hear and they see the boat coming closer,
So again
they swim along fast!
Soon the dolphins cannot carry in with the chase.
They are to tired and then they forget,
That a boat is catching onto their
tails And they get caught in the dastardly net.
The only way to save these
creatures,
Is to stop this horrible chase.
Then maybe when the dolphins
may swim merrily again,
We might see smiles spread all over their face!
