Maintain forward progress at slow steady speed throughout the trip. This reduces the risk of collisions, harassment and noise disturbance.
Ensure no more than one boat is within 50 metres to observe the dolphins in one time.
Always slow down gradually to no-wake speed if dolphins appear directly ahead. Once clear of the dolphins, slowly resume cruising speed. This avoids disturbance from sudden changes in speed or directions.
Dispose of fuel, oil, litter or any other contaminants ashore - avoid additional marine pollution.
Do not chase dolphins or drive a boat directly towards them. Avoid dolphins with young and do not force them to swim towards boats, fish net or shores.
Do not swim with, touch or feed marine mammals.
