世界自然基金會一直致力在本地及華南地區推展多元化的「可持續發展」教育項目，期望增加大眾對自然環境的認識和關注，並了解其與社會及經濟發展的關係。

「從環境中學習」是推動可持續發展教育的有效途徑。如米埔自然保護區，海下灣海岸公園及元洲仔等「戶外教室」，不但能豐富大眾及學生的學習經驗，亦能培養他們對環境的關注，並了解人類與環境的關係。

本會將於2007年6月1日正式接受全港中、小學申請參加2007至08學年的米埔、海下灣及元洲仔（大埔）中小學教育項目。如　閣下為中／小學校長或老師，可6月1日起到以下網址下載申請表格及觀看詳情。

午夜歷奇為一個嶄新的米埔自然導賞活動，讓大家有機會夜探米埔。

是次活動由專業導師帶領，並於黃昏時進入米埔自然保護區，欣賞日落及月出的同時，觀察群鳥於黃昏期間返回棲息地休息的壯觀景象。並於夜深時份，探索紅樹林及淡水基圍內的夜行動物，如：黑眶蟾蜍、飾紋姬蛙、豹貓及螢火蟲等。

WWF has long been making the strongest efforts in promoting a variety of "Education for Sustainable Development" programmes in Hong Kong and South China regions, with the aims to enhance people's understanding and awareness of our natural environment, as well as realizing the inter-relationships between the environment and social and economic development.

"Learning IN the environment" is an effective strategy for sustainable development education. Open-air classrooms like Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park and Island House not only enrich students' learning experience, but also help to increase their awareness about the natural environment and understand the human-environment relationship.

WWF will accept applications for the 2007/8 Mai Po, Hoi Ha Wan and Island House (Tai Po) Secondary/Primary School Education Programmes from 1 June 2007, secondary and primary schools in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for our education programmes. If you are a school principal or teacher, please visit our website on 1 June or afterward to download corresponding application forms and other related information.
