Mai Po is a site of great interest for high-level naturalists, birdwatchers, environmental scientists and anyone with a vested interest in wetland biodiversity. WWF can assist specialists in obtaining the permits that are required for individuals wishing to gain access to the Mai Po Nature Reserve and its facilities. Code of Entry to Mai Po
The Reserve is a restricted area under the Wild Animals Protection Ordinance (Chapter 170). In order to minimize disturbance to wildlife, all visitors are expected to behave responsibly and observe codes of entry downloadable here.
