Big Bird Race

For the last 25 years, WWF has organised the Big Bird Race, an annual charity fundraising event that aims to raise awareness of the importance of wetland protection, and the significance of local ecosystems providing for birds.

Over the years, the Big Bird Race has been crucial in raising funds for the management and maintenance of the Mai Po Nature Reserve, with a percentage of the funds raised dedicated to carrying out important research on migratory birds for the benefit of local ecology.
