Wetland Insect Watch
This outdoor education programme at Mai Po offers older primary students a chance to learn about the rich eco-systems that exist in the wetlands at Mai Po Nature Reserve. Through activities, games, observation and exploration, this 3-hour interactive programme offers a unique educational experience to local students. For Primary 4-6.  Apply

Story of a Bird
This programme at Mai Po offers local students a chance to learn about the importance of wetlands for migratory birds, and how birds adapt to this unique habitat. Students learn bird-watching skills and take part in various games and activities to learn about wetland wildlife. For Primary 4-6. Apply

Wetland Detective
The Wetland Detective programme at Mai Po presents a series of exploratory activities that help students understand the importance and value of wetlands wildlife. Students will be encouraged to make deductions using their sensory abilities, along with a range of observation and identification activities. For Primary 4-6. Apply

Marine Conservation Programmes

Hoi Ha Detective
This marine education programme at Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre is designed to introduce students to Hong Kong’s diverse marine world, learning about everything from marine wildlife to coral communities. In addition to hands-on observation (including a 1-hour glass bottom boat tour) students will learn about the importance of conserving our marine environment. For Primary 4-6. Apply

Little Hoi Adventure
Marine “Education for Sustainable Development” programme specially designed for senior primary student. This programme uses Drama in Education (DIE) techniques whilst students can learn in, with and through drama. Through assuming roles and taking with them their own unique set of experiences and perceptions, student can explore the beauty of the marine life, learn more the treats to the sea and the current fishery situation by entering into a fictional world and "live through" an imagined situation. Wonders of the Ocean
This marine-themed exhibition pack tells a wonderfully illustrated story of praise for the wonders of the ocean, promoting marine conservation in a fun and informative way. Developed in accordance with the General Studies curriculum, this bilingual pack also serves as an ideal resource to support marine-themed school activities. For Primary 1-6. Apply

Green Teenage Diary
Green Teenage Diary is a programme which aims to promote the awareness of the issues of ecological footprint and wise-use of resources. Through outdoor learning at Island House Conservation Studies Centre, school-based extension activities and student action plan towards sustainable lifestyle, students will become committed to live more sustainable. Apply

STEP
The Sustainable lifestyle Target Education Programme (STEP) is an outreach education programme specially developed by WWF that aims to promote awareness of climate change and sustainable living among local primary school students. This week-long in-school programme invites students to take part in a diverse range of activities including school talks, exhibitions, games, drama activities, and more. Students can learn about climate change, how to use resources wisely and how to practice a sustainable lifestyle. Click here to learn more about STEP.

Sustainable Seafood School Catering Programme
This programme promotes the sustainable consumption of seafood by engaging key stakeholders such as schools teachers, students, caterers and parents to adopt green seafood lunchbox. Through training workshops and special events with partner schools, this programme aims to cultivate awareness of the ecological footprint of seafood consumption and inspire lifestyle changes in attitude and behaviour.
