Promoting Sustainable Seafood through WWF’s Seafood Guide Programmme

WWF-Hong Kong is pleased to introduce the “Promoting Sustainable Seafood through Seafood Guide Programme”, funded by the Hong Kong Government’s Sustainable Development Fund. This project aims to create broad awareness across Hong Kong society of the importance of buying, selling and consuming sustainable seafood. The project objectives are to popularize sustainable seafood with the public and the business sector, create more opportunities for businesses to promote sustainable seafood, and, crucially, make sustainable seafood more accessible to the public so as to make it a regular, preferred choice for consumers across Hong Kong.

The programme will last for two years – from February 2017 to January 2019 – during which time a series of events and other activities will be held. Details of these events will be uploaded when they open for registration.
