The Fundamentals of Birdwatching

"Birding" or "birdwatching" is an activity to observe birds in the wild. It is a rewarding and relaxing activity that you can do at anytime and anywhere, such as at your own back yard, a local park or anywhere you travel. Birdwatching does not require much effort to learn and it is an increasingly popular outdoor activity throughout the world for people of all ages.

WWF-Hong Kong is now providing you with a unique birdwatching learning experience at the internationally important wetland Mai Po Nature Reserve. The programme includes two full-day birdwatching tours guided by an expert, supplemented by two indoor lectures where you can easily learn how to identify birds, get to know more about nature and be connected with the immense beauty of birds.

A pair of binoculars and a bird guide will be provided during the outdoor session. You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of both indoor and outdoor sessions.
