Responsible Consumption by Business
The corporate world today undoubtedly has a larger environmental impact on our planet than most governments put together. The increasing trend, particularly by large multi-national businesses, to become more socially responsible represents a massive opportunity for WWF to reduce environmental degradation by working with businesses to reduce their environmental footprint.
Hong Kong, as one of the leading financial centres in the world with a dense concentration of business, is particularly rich in opportunities for WWF Hong Kong to develop partnerships with the corporate sector. Spreading environmental ethics through their global networks and to their suppliers and partners, will cause tremendous change for good.
