Rotary Centennial Institute

Introduction

Founded in 2005, the Rotary Centennial Institute for Wetland Conservation (RCIWC) is a charitable organization aiming at organizing community education and public awareness programmes on wetland conservation in Hong Kong. It is a joint Institute formed by five Rotary Clubs (Hong Kong Island West, Hong Kong Northwest, The Peak, City Northwest Hong Kong and Mid-Level ) and WWF.

By providing training courses, education and outreach programme, the Institute intends to raise the awareness of professionals engaged in the built environment, students, fishermen, farmers and other stakeholders in the community on the importance of wetlands, and their conservation and management. For details of the projects, please visit the website of RCIWC: http://www.rotary3450.org/area5/index.html
