Using the Mai Po Nature Reserve and the Mai Po Inner Deep Bay Ramsar Site as a living case study, WWF Hong Kong hosts a Wetland Management Training Programme. These train wetland managers and decision makers with responsibility for the management and conservation of wetlands in the East Asia – Australasian Flyway for migratory waterbirds, especially from Mainland China. The programmes provide participants with fundamental concepts, principles and cutting-edge techniques for wetland conservation, nature reserve management and environmental education.
