We are very pleased to invite you to submit applications for our ESD programme provided during the 2008 - 2009 School Year.
| WETLAND DETECTIVEis an outdoor education programme specially designed for senior primary students. Through a serious of exploring and sensory activities, students will realize the importance and values of wetlands to wildlife and human begins, and how wildlife adapt to the wetland environment so as to enhance their interest and appreciation to the natural beauty of wetland environment. Students will also be able to learn the importance of conserving wetland environment and resources. |
Programme Content
The 3-hour programme will be conducted with an interactive approach through a vast range of formats, including sensory activities, environmental games, role play, interpretation and wetland wildlife observation and identification.
Education Approach
The programme is conducted through a wide range of interactive activities, which include wildlife observation, demonstration, role-playing, interpretation and games. Students will experience pond-dipping and other environmental friendly insect-watching activities.
