How to Get There

From Sheung Shui KCR Station

1. Private Transportation
 
  • Turn off the highway at the Pak Shek Au and San Tin signpost.
  • Go past San Tin along Castle Peak Road to Mai Po Village. (Map B)
  • Turn right along road signposted "Mai Po Nature Reserve".
  • The WWF HK Carpark (Map A) is opposite the Pak Hok Chau Police Post.
2. Public Transport
2.1 Mini Bus
 
  • In San Fat Street, next to Sheung Shui Landmark, take mini bus no. 17 (red top) to Mai Po Village, about 20 minutes (Map B)
  • 20 minutes walk from Mai Po Village to WWF HK Car park (Map A)
2.2 Bus
 
  • KMB Bus no. 76K departs from Choi Yuen Road opposite Sheung Shui KCR station.
  • Alight at Mai Po Village Road for 20 minutes walk to the reserve.
2.3 Taxi
 
  • Take a green taxi from Sheung Shui KCR station to WWF HK car park (about 20 minutes & around HK$ 70 / trip)

From Yuen Long West Railway Station

1. Private Transport
 
  • Take Route 3 towards Yuen Long. After Tai Lam Tunnel, go northwards towards Lok Ma Chau along San Tin Highway.
  • Exit from the San Tin Highway when you see the "Fairview Park" signpost.
  • At the roundabout, turn off at the "Mai Po" signpost and proceed along Castle Park Road towards Mai Po (Map B)
  • Turn left along road signposted "Mai Po Nature Reserve" (Map A).
  • The WWF HK Car is opposite the Pak Hok Chau Police Post.
2. Public Transportation
2.1 Mini Bus
 
  • Public Light Bus (Red) no. 17 depart from Shui Che Kwun Street, Yuen Long
  • Alight at Tam Kon Chau Road (Map B) for a 20 minutes walk to the reserve. (Map A)
2.2 Bus
 
  • KMB Bus no. 76K departs from Long Yat Road near Sun Yuen Long Centre (Yuen Long West Railway Station)
  • Alight at Mai Po Village Road (Map B) for 20 minutes walk to the Reserve.
2.3 Taxi
 
  • Take a green taxi from Yuen Long West Railway station to WWF HK car park (about 20 minutes & around HK$ 60 / trip)
