Give yourself some "R and R" (Recycle and Renew) WWF New Products - Bags from Plastic Bottles & Pens from Corn Starch
WWF offers you some new ideas for R and R, with our two new products at the Panda Shop
WWF offers you some new ideas for R and R, with our two new products at the Panda Shop:
- Recycle: Give discarded plastic bottles a new life with the "I used to be a plastic bottle" environmental bag from WWF.
- Renew: Use a renewable resource rather than traditional plastic. The new biodegradable pens from WWF are made from corn starch.
"I Used To Be A Plastic Bottle" environmentally-friendly bag 〔Price:HK $25 each〕
Plastic bags and plastic water bottles are the two major waste products that Hong Kong people discard everyday, and which tend to end up in land fill, taking a long time to decompose. WWF proudly presents the "I Used To Be A plastic Bottle" environmentally-friendly shopping bag, which is made from 100% GPET™ post-consumer recycled Plastic Bottles. The "I used to be a plastic bottle" text on the bags aims to remind people of the importance of recycling. Two designs are available. Come and get your favorite now, and support the environment every time you shop!
Biodegradable Corn Starch Pens 〔Price: HK$12 for each〕
Why use plastic when corn starch will do? Corn starch has been used to make these pens, making them biodegradable. From now on, corn is not just for eating, but can be used to write as well!
