Since the year of 1991, WWF Hong Kong has tried best to protect the Chinese White Dolphins which live in the Hong Kong waters. Researches have been done to collect data about them for lobbying the government to establish laws and regulations to protect these endangered marine species.

Also, we plan to associate with the Guangdong Authorities to establish key areas for dolphins in adjacent waters and promoting the establishment of those areas as dolphin sanctuaries and link them to the existing protected areas in adjacent Hong Kong waters.
