Web Designer (Job Code: W-WD)

The appointee will assist the Digital Media Manager, Content in creating a site or pages, this includes the design, layout and coding, this can mean working on a brand new website or updating an already existing site for online marketing.
 
He or she shall have understandings in both graphic design and computer programming. Once a Website or online platform is created, the designer helps with maintenance by updating content and graphics. The Web Designer needs to work with development teams or vendor for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the entire website, mobile and online applications interface development and UAT process
  • Handle advertising, websites and mobile applications related design projects from conception to product completion
  • Extract creative idea and execute from beginning to final delivery
  • Designing quality material for online marketing
  • Producing UX and GUI conception
  • Upgrades site by updating content and graphics, monitoring performance and results, identifying and evaluating improvement options
  • Protects website or online platforms by designing and installing security precautions
  • Maintains site appearance by developing display standards
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Carry out any other duties or ad hoc project as required related to the website enhancement for WWF development
 
 
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Web Design and / or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Web graphic design, Web user interface design and Multimedia content development
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver)
  • Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Ajax.
  • Understanding of web design process, web usability, user interface and current design trend
  • Experience in iOS and Android applications development is an advantage
  • Work well under pressure
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills
  • Positive thinking with a ‘can do’ attitude and with the ability of multi-tasking
  • Self-initiative, detailed-mined with excellent analytical skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
