Health and Safety Measures at WWF Visitor Centres

The health and safety of our visitors is a top priority. We support the community health precaution measures to contain the spread of coronavirus, and have implemented enhanced cleaning precautions at all our centres in line with World Health Organization and Centre for Health Protection guidelines. Measures include handwashing, hand sanitisers and clear guidelines on wearing masks during all our visitor activities, which take place in small family groups in the outdoors.

Please note that our visitor centres in Mai Po Nature Reserve, Island House and Hoi Ha Wan are closed until 26 August while our Central Visitor Centre is closed every Wednesday and Thursday until further notice. Long Ping is open as usual, with enhanced infection-control measures in place.

WWF-Hong Kong operates three visitor centres: Mai Po Nature Reserve in Yuen Long, the Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park in Sai Kung, and the Island House Conservation Studies Centre in Tai Po. Together, they serve an important role in conservation education efforts to raise public awareness about Hong Kong’s natural environment. We welcome the public to visit our centres and gain an appreciation for Hong Kong’s rich biodiversity. A host of activities and events are available year-round.
