Chairman Daniel R Bradshaw has been an active member of WWF-Hong Kong since the 1980s, serving previously as Finance Committee Chairman and as an Honorary Legal Advisor. An avid birdwatcher, he is a regular participant of WWF’s longest birdwatching event Big Bird Race.
Daniel is a member of the Board of Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden Corporation and was a senior consultant at Mayer Brown, where he was partner for more than 20 years.
He was a Captain of the Hong Kong Golf Club in 1996. He was Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Shipowners' Association from 1993 to 2001 and a member of the Hong Kong Port and Maritime Board until 2003. From 2003 until 2008 he was a member of the Hong Kong Maritime Industry Council.
Daniel (1947) obtained a Master of Laws (1971) degree at the Victoria University of Wellington. He worked for a New Zealand law firm Bell Gully and in 1974, joined Sinclair Roche & Temperley in London. From 1978 until 2019, he worked at Johnson Stokes & Master, now Mayer Brown, in Hong Kong (from 1983 to 2003 as a partner and from 2003 to 2019 as a senior consultant). He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Pacific Basin Shipping Company Limited, IRC Limited and GasLog Partners LP.
