Ecological Monitoring Survey for September - October
The migratory birds have already begun arriving at Mai Po Nature Reserve, just in time for the start of the public visit season! Don’t miss this opportunity to get close to nature and enjoy our local biodiversity with the Magic of Mai Po and other eco-visits, and the launch of a shuttle bus service from Long Ping MTR station! The reserve remains open as we continue preparing for the rebuild of the Peter Scott Field Studies Centre (PSFSC), located in the village outside Mai Po Nature Reserve, adjacent to the commercial fish ponds falling within the wetland conservation area of Inner Deep Bay.
The sixth of our monthly ecological monitoring survey is now available to read here. It is part of our ongoing monitoring following on from the environmental and ecological assessment report published on this site covering the demolition and rebuild at PSFSC.
WWF maintains a commitment to transparency on our environmental standards and ecological monitoring with the aim of minimising the impact of the project and providing regular updates.
