Upgrading Works at Tam Kon Chau Road

In support of the essential infrastructure upgrade of Peter Scott Field Studies Centre, WWF-Hong Kong’s contractor Tactful Construction & Engineering HK Ltd today commences the upgrading works at Tam Kon Chau Road, including underground stormwater drainage pipe and public fire services hydrant to meet the current FSI code and ensure the safety of the Mai Po community, staff and visitors. The construction works have been approved by the Town Planning Board and Lands Department.
 
To minimize the ecological impact on the surrounding areas, the upgrading work is scheduled to avoid the birds migration period and expected to be completed in August or September.
